Iheartfaces weekly challenge - Pets

This week over at iheartfaces the weekly challenge is "pets". 

 My family and I have a wonderful dog named Sydney, who hates being photographed.  Every time I take out my camera she starts running around, or goes into hiding.

However, one day I enlisted the help of some neighborhood squirrels to keep her attention. :)

We use to have a hole in our fence that looked onto an open lot with lots of trees.  Sydney learned that if she stood up and stuck her head into the hole she could watch the squirrels playing in the trees. :)

I Heart Faces - "Celebrating Teens"

The weekly challenge at iheartfaces this week is all about Teens.
This week's picture had to have a teenager (someone between the ages of 13 - 19) in it.

I had a hard time picking my favorite picture of Kelsey to enter, until I came across this one. Kelsey is a beautiful and sweet young lady and I feel this picture shows that.

Alvin our pet chipmunk

When we moved into our new house in Maryland we noticed that we had a chimpmunk who lived in our backyard.  After seeing him for a couple of days we decided he needed a name.  Gavin named him Alvin.  And yes, before you ask, according to Gavin, Theodore and Simon live outside too. 

If you have never seen a chipmunk before (it's okay neither had I ) they are rather small and oh, so cute. They also run really, really fast!  I have been trying to get a picture of our little pet since we moved in however, I have failed everyday except today! That's right, I finally got a picture of him. 

 

Iheartfaces week 24- Baby

That's right, another week has come and gone.
Over at iheartfaces this weeks challenge is babies.

Anything from babies still in mom's belly... to newborns... to little babies who still aren't taking their first steps. They are also expanding this weeks theme to include baby animals or baby accessories as well.

The picture I am using is of my hand and my son Gavin's hand.  This was one of the first "baby" pictures I ever took and I still love it today! 

 *Keep in mind I took this with my cheap point and shoot camera *

Water Table Fun

Last weekend while my mom was in town, she went and got the boys an awesome water table. They have been having fun with it every since!!  (thanks mom) 

Since I finally got my camera back from Best Buy, I decided it was time to take some pictures. 

 They are so deep in thought.

Weekly Challenge- Play

This week over at Iheartfaces.com the weekly challenge is Play. 

Considering I have two little boys, this was a pretty easy challenge.  The only problem I faced was picking just one picture to enter. The picture I ended up picking isn't even of my own children.. but of there friends.  :)

The picture below is of Layla and Jonathan last summer at the park. Its hard to believe that a year has almost gone by already.  I hope you guys enjoy!

Madison and Dylan

While back home in Orlando I finally got to meet Madison and Dylan.  It was their second birthday, so we decided to head out to Lake Eola for a little photo shoot.  We had such a blast running and climbing.
